Back in 1991, aiSee was developed to visualize the internal data structures typically found in compilers. Today it is widely used in many different areas:

aiSee reads a textual, easy-to-read and easy-to-learn graph specification and visualizes the graph. Its design has been optimized to handle large graphs automatically generated by applications (e.g. compilers). It can also be easily integrated into other applications, including Web-based ones.

aiSee runs under Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X. It is available free of charge for non-commercial usage.
