aiSee automatically calculates a customizable layout of graphs
specified in GDL (Graph Description Language). This
layout is then displayed, and can be printed or interactively explored.

Features
“aiSee has outperformed every other node graphing software I have tried.”
G. Bray, USA
“The thing I like most in aiSee is that it is very simple to start drawing graphs.”
15 graph layout methods, including a specialized version for
trees
Animation interface (visualization of a series of graphs and smooth transitions)
Export of complete graphs and selected graph parts to various formats, including
SVG,
PNG,
HTML (image maps), and colored
PostScript (on multiple pages for large graphs)
Application fields
Back in 1991, aiSee was developed to visualize
the internal data structures typically found in compilers. Today it is
widely used in many different areas:
aiSee reads a textual, easy-to-read and easy-to-learn
graph specification and visualizes the graph.
Its design has been optimized to handle large graphs automatically generated
by applications (e.g. compilers).
It can also be easily integrated into other applications, including Web-based ones.
aiSee runs under Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X.
It is available free of charge for non-commercial usage.
